My work as an instructor encompasses a broad range of courses offerings within the humanities and social sciences traversing media and critical theory, cultural identity and creative expression situated in historical frameworks.

My research has been presented at national conferences related to media, sound studies and popular culture with a focus on collective memory and history of sound recording technologies.

I earned a PhD from Stony Brook University’s Department of Cultural Analysis and Theory and hold an MA in American Studies.
